Photoshop CS4 Or Photoshop CS64? Adobe's new Photoshop CS4 is basically a Photoshop 64-bit version of photo-editing software; unfortunately at this time it is only available for Windows platforms and not for the Mac OS X. Please understand that Adobe is not attempting to play favorites, instead it's trying to respect the changes Apple made in 2007 to their programming. Since the inception of Windows XP has been supporting 64-bit version of software, but it has been moving quiet slowly as most software and hardware support 32-bit. Photoshop Tricks Keyboard Short-Cuts Selecting Colors from an Image Quickly To take a color from your image and turn it into the foreground color Press I to activate the Eyedropper Tool and then click on any color in your image. To take that color and turn it into the background color, press the ALT Key and click on any color in your image. Straighten Crooked Photos Using the Measure Tool The Measure Tool is the best way to straighten images in Photoshop, taking all the guess work out of it. As I will show you in a moment, Photoshop will do most of the work for you as long as there's something in the image that should be straight! By default the Measure Tool is buried behind the Eyedropper Tool in the Tools palette, so in order to select it, you need to click and hold your mouse button down on the Eyedropper Tool for a second or two. Press Ctrl+U to open hue/saturation window. Duplicate the layer. Change the layer mode to "Linear Light".
