The Cycle of Life is The Secret to Balance

By: Richard D. Blackstone

The only absolute is that everything changes. That is the nature of our vibrational universe. Life is made up of cycles and these cycles are the catalyst for continual change and spiritual growth.

The world we were born into is the culmination of what has been created by the human species, as a collective, ever since the human species evolved to the point of cognition and awareness.

Our earliest ancestors recognized and honored the three aspects of our beingness and gave thanks to the source of all life as part of their culture and traditions. The process of life is one of continual change and a revelation of the concept that all things in life run in cycles that come and go, just as the tides.

Life in the physical world has taken us to a point where most of the emphasis of living has been placed on the mind and the body. We are at a critical juncture in our evolvement that is calling for us to return to the influence of the spirit part of our make-up. The influence and balancing perspective of our spirit is required to return not only our individual selves into balance but also to bring balance to the collective part of the human experience known as humanity.

We need balance in the mind, body, spirit triad that is our essential nature. We need to bring the balancing influence of our spirit back into our moment-to-moment decision making process. We need to do this individually and we need to do this collectively.

But here's the deal. We can only do this collectively by first “being this” individually.

Don't think of this as a case of doing something. Think of this as a case of “being something.” You have to first “be compassionate” in order to do compassionate things. You have to first “be loving” to do loving things. You have to first “be noble” to do noble things. You have to first “be the truth” to do truthful things.

Are you “being the truth” of who you really are? Or are you “being the truth” of the illusion of who you think you are? Who you really are is a spirit child of God. That is the ultimate truth of you and of every human being that exists. We are all spirit children of God and as such we are all part of God. Not just some of us but all of us.

We are all one with God. Not part of the time but all of the time. We are all in a giant collaboration with God. We are experiencing in the physical realm all that God knows as concepts in the realm of the absolute.

If what you are experiencing in life is a belief that you are separate from God and a fear of God, well, that is okay. You have free will to experience and believe whatever you choose.

I just want to ask you one question. “Does that serve you?”

Does it serve you to believe that you are a separate person from all other people and it is therefore okay to kill your fellow human beings if they disagree with you or if they have something that you want? (Like oil).

Does it serve you to believe that you are separate from this planet that sustains you and you therefore have the right to pollute and destroy the very environment that maintains the filters to clean the air we breath and provides the pure water of life?

Does it serve you to believe that you are a separate entity unto yourself and that you are separate from the source from which you came and, by believing in this separation, you have denied yourself the power that you possess as part of this all-knowing and all-loving source?

This belief of separation from all people and things and God is the most commonly held belief of most people on this planet at this particular point in humanity's existence. But here's the good deal. It is only a belief. That does not make it a truth.

Before this belief system of separation became the dominant belief system on this planet, there existed the dominant belief that we were all part of the divine and benevolent nature of the source of all that is. This was thousands of years ago when most of the societies in the world were matriarchal and the concept of religion wasn't really established.

These early societies were not war-like and they provided for all members in the society. They saw value in each person as an honored part of the whole and truly honored the environment as a provider of life.

The cycle of humanity is no different than any other cycle of life. Just as the tides move in and out so too does the cycle of life bring us to a point where the belief in separation must give way to the belief in oneness and allow humanity to move once again into the healing ways of nature and unity.
