Using the right lotion is crucial, as I found out with my tribal chimera tattoo on my left shoulder. Because it was so hard to reach, I didn't put nearly as much lotion on it and it cracked and bled. Eventually it healed improperly and I have two faded spots which I have to get touched up (which I will do when I get my tribal dragon on the other shoulder).
