Hypnosis - How Hard is it to Hypnotize Others?

By: Mark Allan

Hypnosis is a special state of mind that includes heightened suggestibility in the unconscious willingness to follow instructions. This trance is really a state of focused concentration.

The main idea of hypnosis is to create a suggestible state of mind in the subject. And then implants the desired suggestions. Many times, you do not want someone to realize they are being hypnotized.

For hypnosis to work best, you want your subject, to be relaxed and free of tension. Ideally you want them in a relaxed state of mind and a comfortable atmosphere.

If the subject knows they are being hypnotized, you can ask for their cooperation. Have them try to recognize any tension in their body and begin relaxing. Tell them to focus on places where they are tense and begin a mental effort to relax those areas.

If you are trying to hypnotize someone without their knowledge, you can still try and make them relaxed and reduce any tension. Insure that there are no obvious distractions, like loud noises or bright lights.

The secret to hypnosis is in getting someone to focus inwardly and enter a trance or state of suggestibility. Once they are in a trance, you can begin implanting suggestions.

There are many writings and courses that showed these secrets to hypnosis. The hypnosis-x.info web site shows some of the more controversial, "secret" methods, however you can find many other methods by searching the Web.
