How to Get Unstuck: Being in Balance

By: Richard D. Blackstone

We often get stuck in life because we are living out of balance in our mind, body, spirit being. The secret of getting unstuck is to use the law of attraction to create balance in your life. You need to get unstuck from living exclusively through your ego and balance out the ego, sacred self duality.

We create our own egoic system through our choices and because we are continually making choices in this process we call life we have the option of creating another way for the ego to function at any time that we choose. Life is always a matter of choice.

Most of the people in the world today have made the choice to live almost exclusively through their minds and therefore the prevailing thoughts and the collective consciousness of this world would have us believe that we are separate from each other and separate from God. We tell ourselves that even though we want to love everybody, we must watch out for ourselves first and allow the ego to maintain dominion as the primary protector of all external stimuli that we are subjected to daily.

Sometimes we tell ourselves that we need to be more present so we can live more from our heart and be privy to the messages of our sacred self. We make a promise to ourselves to be more in the present. We make a promise to ourselves to change ourselves. We make a promise to ourselves to take on new activities that will advance our evolvement. We make a promise to ourselves to start the process of life change. We make a promise to God that we will become awake and aware of the glory that we truly are, and begin to make choices that serve us instead of choices that do not serve us.

All of these promises to ourselves are promises that are to be fulfilled in the future. You have just been deceived by the ego again. Only the ego lives in the future. Only the sacred-self lives in the present moment.

You don't need to make promises to yourself or to God. All that is required is a gentle remembering to be present with that which is present. It is moment-to-moment choice. You don't need a promise to do something in the future. You just need to simply choose in the now. It is a choice to be present in this moment or to be in the world of your mind, which is a world of illusion brought to you through your thoughts, your memories and your imaginings.

It comes down to a choice of beingness. What are you being? Remember, beingness creates doingness. When you are being present, you will be listening to your sacred self through your heart space and living within the ultimate truth that we are all one. When you are being unconscious, you will be listening to your ego through your mind and living in the illusion of separation.

Everything stems from who we are being in any given moment of the present moment of now. It all begins with self-honesty. When you are honest with yourself all things are possible. If you want to bring light to the path that you are following, you must reach within yourself and be honest with yourself.

Reveal to yourself your innermost aspirations and bring those forth to the forefront of your mind so that you can expose them to the light of awareness. Be fully aware of what you truly desire in order to put your attention on it. Remember, the law of attraction tells us that we bring into our reality that which we put our attention on.

Your mind needs to know what it is that you truly desire. Only then can it call forth from the universe the resources required to fulfill those intentions and desires.

Once again, remember that you are a three-part being made up of mind, body and spirit. What we are seeking here is to “be in balance” with this triune beingness. One part is no more important than the other when we are seeking to be the whole of who we can be.

When we live with too much emphasis on the body we may acquire a finely tuned physical machine but with no depth or insight as to what the higher purpose of life is and no ideas on how to pursue that.

When we live with too much emphasis on the mind, we may acquire the mental processes that allow us to gain a wealth of worldly and material knowledge but with a lack of bodily strength and endurance and no spiritual guidance.

When we live with too much emphasis on the spirit, we may acquire a state of spiritual enlightenment with no worldly skills with which to use this to serve our fellow man and a body with no stamina.

We were created with the purpose to experience in the physical, relative universe all that we know of as concepts in the realm of the absolute. We were created as a three-part being to fulfill the purpose of our existence. We were created as this human form with all of the same properties and abilities as the creator.

When you are in harmony and total balance with your mind, your body and your spirit you are creating at the optimum level of your beingness.
