Lather it into the hair and wait for fifteen minutes then use a nit comb to comb out the hair. The other method is the use of olive oil. Slather your hair with food grade oil like vegetable or olive oil and leave it on for fifteen minutes, then comb out your hair carefully with a flea or nit comb, wiping the comb on a paper towel after each swipe through your hair. However, most people cannot afford this natural head lice treatment.
